Chandra: Why did you choose to come to work at Point It?

Benji: I was looking for an agency with high energy, room for expansion, and people who actively adapt to the quickly-changing digital marketing industry. Point It fits the bill.

Chandra: What path did you take to your current position?

Benji: I came from a startup marketing background, and moved into paid search about two years ago. I was always interested in data, marketing, and how companies can find insights from their users. This is a relatively new field so it is exciting to see how companies decide to utilize these insights going into the future.

Chandra: What are you most excited about in your new role?

Benji: I’m most excited about client interactions. It’s one thing to play with data and hit results, but it’s much more fulfilling to succeed for a client and see their satisfaction. Managing business relationships can be challenging too, but I’m looking forward to swimming through these waters as they arise.

Chandra: If someone wanted to follow your footsteps, what piece of advice would you offer them?

Benji: Learn all the tools that you can, but keep in mind that all these skills boil down to insightful analysis and straightforward communication. If you can do these two things well, then you are set.

Chandra is the Recruiting Manager for Point It where she sources, attracts, recruits and interviews potential candidates for available openings. Previously, she was a contract recruiter within the A/E/C industry primarily in the Seattle area. She attended University of Southern California where she studied Architecture, and Baker College where she graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration, Marketing emphasis. When she isn’t building relationships with prospective employees, you can find Chandra camping, hiking, baking, or at the beach with her husband and 3 kiddos.
