Point Taken – Top Tweets from SMX

Happy Friday! This week, some of our Point It team members were down in San Jose, California for the annual SMX West conference.  To wrap up the week, we are going to be reviewing our favorite tweets and sessions from SMX West 2015.

1.  The number two spot is going to @DannySullivan for this great TwitPic, once again demonstrating how some aspects of search are changing and how others are remaining fairly constant, such as how searchers still care most about the #1 search result and organic listings.

2.  Our number one spot is going to @BruceClayInc with a great presentation about how the way we search and view the SERP has changed from 2005 to 2014.

3.  Next up is our very own @ChristiJOlson for her fabulous presentation on the good, the bad, and the ugly of @BingAds soon-to-be full release of Universal Events Tracking.

4.  In fourth place we have @ScottCowley with what everyone’s talking about at #smxwest – and it’s mobile, mobile, mobile.

5.  And last, but certainly not least, we have @larrykim’s great quote from @BingAds event Janes of Digital, where @ChrisChurchill reminds women that when a female mentor or sponsor believes in you, the possibilities are endless.

Have a great weekend and check back in for next week’s Point Taken post with more exciting articles, news, and upcoming events all about the latest and greatest digital marketing trends!
