Promoted at Point It: Mindy Kim, Associate Client Manager

Welcome to our new blog series introducing you to some of the talented folks we’ve recently promoted into new positions at Point It. As you can probably tell, we think Point It is a fabulous place to work. Our people are the reason we feel confident telling you that we’re the leaders in digital marketing today: we invest in finding, retaining, and promoting the strongest possible team to serve you. Today, we’d like to introduce Mindy Kim, Point It’s newest Associate Client Manager, in conversation with our Sr. Manager of Marketing, Tim Mohler. You might be familiar with Mindy, as she was the author of our popular Point Taken blog articles over the summer as an intern here at Point It.

TM:  Tell me about your career path at Point It. How has Point It helped you reach your career goals?

MK:  I’ve always enjoyed marketing throughout college and knew that this was a field that I wanted to enter post-graduation. I got the opportunity to intern at Point It and instantly enjoyed the people and the work that I was doing. It was a lot different than the marketing internships I’ve had in the past, and that’s when I really began seeing a career in Paid Search. This July I was hired on as an ACM, and I couldn’t be more excited to see where Point It takes me.

TM:  What inspires you to get great results for your clients?

MK:  What inspires me to get great results for my clients is understanding that we are a major component for the success of their business. We’ve made a commitment to do our best, and they rely on us to deliver those promises.

TM:  What do you love best about your job?

MK:  I love working with people that push me to do better. In the short amount of time that I’ve been here I’ve learned an incredible amount, and that’s all thanks to the people at Point It. Having a supportive team that always strives for excellence for their clients makes this job even more enjoyable.

TM:  How would someone go about doing what you do?

MK:  I would say to always be keeping up to date with the latest news in search. It’s an industry that is constantly changing and understanding the newest updates can help you get ahead of the curve. When you think you’ve learned it all, there is always even more to learn.
