Yoogi’s Closet is a website that sells authenticated pre-owned luxury items, ranging from Louis Vuitton handbags and Christian Louboutin pumps to Alexander McQueen fashions and other brand-name jewelry and accessories. The Seattle-based online retailer provides its customers with a trusted source for buying exclusive brands as well as for selling items on a consignment basis.
While its other sales channels were performing well, Yoogi’s Closet noticed a sudden dip in its revenue from organic traffic. At the same time, it also observed that search engines were indexing a colossal number of pages on its site (to the tune of almost 5,300,000 separate “pages”). The company enlisted Point It’s experts to help figure out what was going wrong and get its metrics back on track.
