Microsoft Store has a chain of retail stores and a shopping site online that Microsoft owns. The chain sells devices in store and online. In Canada there are eight Microsoft Store locations and a website specifically for e-commerce in Canada.

Point It is Microsoft Store’s SEM agency partner. We were tasked with creating an online marketing strategy for a secret product that we would not know about until launch day. The Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book were released online.

In less than 24 hours of the product launch announcement, we built, tested, and activated high quality SEM campaigns. We drove the highest RLSA revenue month (1500%) of all time for Microsoft Store’s Surface category. SEM keyword targeting, audience targeting, messaging, and bidding strategy resulted in a +21% lift in CTR and an +84% lift in Rev/Click for Microsoft Store’s Surface category.

Our client’s project was acknowledged as an industry gold standard by both the US Search Awards and by Search Engine Land’s Landy Awards.
